President's Newsletter

September 1, 2016

Subject: Quarterly Newsletter

It is hard to believe that summer is almost over, however, baseball season is still in progress and a hopeful Cubs World Series awaits us!  The football season has begun and now is the time for us to ‘kick off’ TMAC’s new fiscal year!

Before I introduce this year’s board and committee members, I’d like to thank Angelyn Pennington and Gary Silha and the Windy City Summit Committee members for their efforts in coordinating a fabulous 2016 Windy City Summit!  Attendance was up over last year, conference feedback has been positive and the new conference format (1/2 day Tuesday – Thursday) for 2017 has been well received.

I would also like to thank Kim Drennan and Frank Hashimoto for launching TMAC’s two Summer Summit Series programs that highlighted Regulation 385 and Money Market Reform.  The Summer Summit Series is a new and effective method to educate and impact our members during our off-meeting months.

Thank you to Frank Hashimoto, Susan Donatello and Maria Preston for their service on the board last year.  It has been a pleasure working with them.

A big thank you goes to Julie Qualiato for serving as President for the past two terms. I am looking forward to working with Julie again as President Emeritus!  She is an influential member of the board - I can always count on her to provide guidance, insight and advice for decisions and issues.

Best Regards, Tricia Kelly
