2019 Outlook - Rates, Technology, and Investments Opportunities

Discussion will focus on the interest rate environment and what to expect for 2019. Will also touch on new technology initiatives (TMS systems, portal integration, AI investing, etc.). Lastly we will discuss the various investment solutions available to corporates that will allow them to take advantage of the current landscape.

SPEAKERS

Matthew Terhune, Vice President with Morgan Stanley Investment Management

Matt is a member of the Institutional Liquidity team focusing on providing short-term fixed income strategies to institutional clients. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 and has 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a money market sales associate at Standard Chartered Bank. Matthew received a B.S. in engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He holds his Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Brian Buck
, Executive Director with Morgan Stanley Investment Management

Brian is a Product Specialist for Morgan Stanley’s Global Liquidity team. He is responsible for the strategy, development, delivery and marketing of short-term investment management products including money market funds, ultra-short bond funds, and separately managed accounts. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 and has 10 years of industry experience. Brian received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Rick Wilkinson, with Morgan Stanley Investment Management

Rick is the head of platform development for the Global Liquidity business.  He joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 and has 12 years of investment industry experience.  Rick received a B.S.B.A in Finance and Accounting from the University of Richmond.
